Holiday rental terms

This agreement is entered into between the Host and the Tenant for the rental of the property identified in the confirmed booking.

1. LENGTH OF STAY

The rental period begins on the arrival date (check-in) and ends on the departure date (check-out), for the number of nights specified in the booking. The accommodation will be available from the specified check-in time (between 3 pm and 9 pm) and must be vacated by the stated check-out time (before 11 am).

2. RENT

The total booking amount and applicable fees must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Tourist taxes

The applicable tourist taxes, set by the municipality and region at the prevailing rate, amount to 5.5% of the nightly price, capped at €2.20 per adult per night. These amounts may be revised slightly by the competent authorities. They are not included in the booking price and must be paid on site by the Tenant upon arrival.

3. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

If the Tenant cancels, a refund of 90% of the total booking amount will be granted if cancellation takes place no later than 14 days before the scheduled arrival date.

After this deadline, no refund may be claimed.

4. OCCUPANCY LIMIT

The number of occupants is strictly limited to the number stated in the pre-arrival form. In the event of non-compliance, the Host reserves the right to cancel the stay without a refund.

5. PEACE AND QUIET

The Tenant and their companions undertake not to disturb the neighbourhood (excessive noise, fireworks or inappropriate behaviour). Any illegal activity is strictly prohibited.

No commercial events, parties, filming or photo shoots are permitted on the premises.

6. CARE OF THE ACCOMMODATION / DAMAGE

Pets are not permitted unless requested in advance, and only in the studios designated for this purpose. Additional cleaning fees apply for authorised pets. Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with these rules (unauthorised pets or smoking indoors) will result in immediate eviction without a refund and an additional cleaning charge of €100.

Any damage or additional cleaning required will be charged to the Tenant.

7. THE HOST’S RIGHTS

In the event of non-compliance with these terms, the Host reserves the right to cancel the agreement, enter the accommodation and/or require immediate departure. All payments made will be retained by the Host.

8. INDEMNIFICATION

The Tenant undertakes to indemnify the Host against any claim, damage or loss arising from the use of the accommodation or the equipment provided during the stay.

9. NO SUBLETTING

Subletting or assigning all or part of this agreement to a third party is strictly prohibited.

10. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS

The accommodation is provided with the equipment present at the time of booking. No additional equipment will be provided. The Tenant undertakes to report any breakdown or malfunction immediately.

The Host undertakes to intervene as soon as possible, without any refund or compensation being due in the event of a breakdown.

By confirming this booking, the Tenant acknowledges having read, understood and accepted these terms and the house rules of Le Clos des Chartreux.

HOUSE RULES – LE CLOS DES CHARTREUX

• Quiet hours begin at 10 pm.
• Parties and events are strictly prohibited.
• No commercial events, parties, filming or photo shoots are permitted on the premises.
• Use the equipment provided responsibly.
• Waste must be sorted in accordance with local regulations (general waste, glass, recyclables, etc.).
